We need high-skilled technicians, experienced with testing and tuning using a spectrum and network analyzer, to work on cleared products. If you currently do not have clearance, we are happy to help you secure it.  Our test stations in the cleared room are largely occupied during 1st shift (6:00am – 2:30pm). We are looking for individuals who are willing to work a fixed schedule adjacent to first shift. We can consider shifts starting between 10:00am and 4:00pm at 4 hours, 6 hours, and 8 hours in length. We also will consider qualified candidates who want to work noon to 8:30pm, 3 days per week. If this sounds interesting, and you qualify, please apply and lets discuss options. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

  • To inspect, measure and test using electronic measuring equipment and microscope
  • To determine if machines and equipment are processing electrical circuit cards according to company standards
  • Analyze test results using engineering specifications and calculator
  • Write report on equipment repair or recalibration recommendations as well as any operator procedure violations
  • Assist engineers in: running experiments, creating documentation and operational methods sheets for production test

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities and/or duties required; other duties may be assigned.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit cards to ensure conformance with specifications
  • Mechanical assembly of automated test systems to include: drilling and tapping holes, mounting test equipment and routing cable harnesses
  • Creates test systems wiring harness from electrical schematics
  • Wire and configure various customer equipment for testing in the EMC department
  • Wire and repair production test fixtures
  • Build and repair RD coaxial cabling assemblies
  • Run custom product verification tests in the lab

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology or equivalent AND
  • 1+ years of experience as a quality inspector or technician OR Equivalent combination of education and experience

Must-Haves
1. Experience testing/tuning with Spectrum Analyzer or Network Analyzer
2. Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (must be US Citizen, drug-free (national law), and no major crimes or international connection issues)
3. Understanding of Insertion Loss and VSWR
Nice-To-Haves
1. Existing Security Clearance is HUGE! It’s about as close to a must have as you can get. We just don’t want to miss out on other strong individuals
2. Background testing/tuning RF components/sub-assemblies (not system level)
